Summer Recreation Day Camp
The Palmyra Area Recreation and Parks Commission is proud to announce it's fourth year for the day camp. Children currently in grades K through 6th grade.
Camp Dates: June 16 through August 22, 2008 at NorthSide Elementary School.
Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 6:00pm
Fee: Residents $100, Non- residents: $110 (Pre-registration is required.)
Registration:
Returning participants: March 3, 2008 rom 6:30pm to 8pm. (Municipal Building)
New participants: March 24, 2008 from 6:30pm to 8pm. (Municipal Building)
Berman's Basketball Camp
Mr. Berman will instruct this summer's basketball camp. The camp features a range of activities including station drills, guest speakers, special contests and game competition. Participants will receive a variety of basketball gifts. This camp is for boys and girls presently in grades first through fifth grade.
Camp Dates: June 16 - June 20, 2008
Fee: Per Week $95, There is a one time $45 registration fee and a $40 transportation fee. (pool and field trips are separate fees.)
Palmyra Recreation/Mid-State Hockey Camp
Kayla Harshman, a current member of the Palmyra High School Field Hockey Team, will be running a field hockey camp this summer
for students going into grades 4th-7th as her High School Senior Project. This is the second year this camp has been held. The
campers will receive a reversible jersey for scrimmage play throughout the camp. Registration forms can be found in the Palmyra
Recreation Office or the Recreation's website.
Registration Deadline: July 18, 2008
Camp Date: Sunday, August 3rd to Tuesday, August 5th
Rain-date: (Thursday, August 6, 2008)
