Let’s Go Square Dancing

An Invitation to learn to Square Dance

Want to shake off those winter blues;then put on your dancing shoes and come join the Palm Squares, Palmyra’s premier square dancing group.  If you are interested in learning the basics of square dancing.  COME JOIN THE FUN!  No experience is necessary to participate.  Each figure will be taught.

Boys Fall Soccer

(K-7th grades)

  • Coaches meeting – Thurs. Aug. 16 from 6-7 pm at the Palmyra Mun. Bldg.
  • Players will be informed of team placement by August 18TH
  • Practices begin the week of Aug. 20th
  • Game days are mostly Saturdays with a few games on weekdays
  • Games played at South Londonderry for grades 3 – 7.
  • Games played at Grace Brethren Church for grades K – 1. (rear of church)
  • Cleats and shin guards are required to play
  • Leagues are K & 1; 2, 3, & 4;  5 , 6, & 7
  • We Do Not Grant Requests For Team Placements. Families w/siblings within age group will be put on same team

Pick-Up Co-Ed Adult Volleyball

Competitive Co-Ed adult (18+) volleyball will be played at the Palmyra Area Middle School Gym, 50 West Cherry St. Palmyra. Pre- registration is not required; register on-site.

Session 1

  • Sept. 6, 2011 – Dec. 22, 2011
  • Fee – $5.00 per night or $75.00 per session (Both Tuesday & Thursday) OR $40.00 (one night per week Tuesday or Thursday)
  • No Volleyball: 9/15, 11/10, 11/24/2011

 

Session 2

  • Jan. 3, 2012 – May 10, 2012
  • Fee- $5.00 per night or $85.00 per session (Both Tuesday & Thursday) OR $50.00 (one night per week Tuesday or Thursday)

General Info

  • Monday/Tuesday dance classes start Sept 12 & 13 – No classes Sept 19 & 20
  • Wednesday/Thursday dance classes start Sept 21 & 22
  • Registration beings late August and is ongoing at the PARPC office located in the Palmyra Municipal Building.
  • Classes are held throughout the school year and summer months.  Pre-registration is required. Monthly payment will be due the first of each month.

All classes will be held at the South Londonderry Township Municipal Building, 2nd Floor, West Market and Center Streets, Campbelltown.

Dance Fees
1 hour class per week – $35/month
2-2.5 hours per week – $45/month
3-4 hours per week – $55/month
Unlimited, including Jazz – $75/month

Zumba with Todd

(Exercise class for men/women, teens and adults), Zumba “fuses hypnotic musical rhythms and tantalizing moves to create a dynamic workout system designed to be Fun and easy to Do.” Latin inspired dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music and dance movements. 

Instructor: Todd Snovel Wednesday classes are held year around. Fee per class, pay as you go. Time: 6 – 7 pm

  • Where:  Palmyra Municipal Building, 2nd Floor, elevator is available
  • Special Attire: Comfortable clothing and footwear is recommended
