Spanish Lessions (ages 4 & 5)
Are you interested in giving your child the opportunity to learn Spanish? Then I am pleased to offer children ages 4-5 Spanish lessons
with Senora Nora. Your child will have the opportunity to learn from my years of experience as both a certified teacher (since 1998)
and a native speaker. The lessons include Spanish phrases, numbers, colors, days of the week, and months of the year. Seating is limited
so don’t miss this wonderful opportunity. Gracias!
Fee: $160 per child.
Class is limited to ten participants.
Class every Thursday starting: Feb 7, 2008 through April 3, 2008 6:30-7:30

Introduction to Cheerleading and Dance (4, 5 & 6 years old)
This class is for young girls aspiring to becoming cheerleaders. The
emphasis in this class is to learn dance routines that young cheerleaders
would enjoy performing. They will receive instruction in basic dance
techniques, pom poms, cheer positions, basic motions and cheer jumps.
Fee: $50 per child, $60 Non-residents
Tuesdays: March 18, 25, April 1, 8, 15, 22, 2008
6:00 to 6:45 at Pine Street Elementary School(location subject to change)
Instructor: Kelly Seibert (Palmyra Midget Cheering)
Intermediate Cheerleading (5, 6, & 7 years old)
This class will have an emphasis on stretching and agility. The class will review the basic motions of cheering, teach beginning mounting, demonstrate
simple gymnastics, such as cartwheels and round-offs and conclude with a basic dance routine. Intermediate Cheering will form a base for the child
to perform basic and simplistic cheerleading skills.
Tuesdays: March 18, 25 April 1, 8, 15, 22, 2008
7:00 to 7:45 at Pine Street Elementary School (location subject to change)
American Red Cross Babysitting Course
Get the training you need to handle any babysitting situation! Learn to supervise and care for infants through early teens. In addition to basic care for infants, (holding, diapering, feeding, etc.) first aid and choking will be taught. Participants will receive certification upon completion of necessary time requirements.
Fee: $55, Non- residents $65. (This fee includes a safety kit.)
Ages 11 years and up are eligible to register.
April 12 and 19, 2008, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at North Londonderry Township Building
**Must attend both sessions to receive certification. Please bring a bagged lunch.
Easter Egg Hunt
Join the Palmyra Area Recreation at the Palmyra Middle School for annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 15, 2008 beginning at
1:05pm. Children ages to 2 to 11 years of age are eligible to participate. Please bring a basket
or bag to collect eggs. This is a rain or shine event. (If inclement weather occurs hunt will take place in the gymnasium by age groups.)
Fee: $1 per person.
Registration is from 12:30pm to 1:00pm.
