The Palmyra Area Recreation and Parks Commission (PARPC) today announced the launch of their new website at www.palmyrarec.org. The site was designed and developed by Triple Strength, of Palmyra.
PARPC Director Tina Manoogian-King said the Commission’s old site was constructed many years ago and had become outdated. PARPC’s new site has been designed to be more user-friendly, and has expanded content and other features. New photography of PARPC events and participants has also been added to the site.
“We are delighted to launch the new website and encourage everyone to give us a visit,” said Manoogian-King. The new site features extensive information on all of the Commission’s varied activities, ranging from youth sports to adult fitness programs. Visitors to the site can find specific information on the sports or programs they’re interested in as well as more general information on the Recreation and Parks Commission and its various partners. PARPC is a regional recreation entity, serving the citizens of the Borough of Palmyra and North and South Londonderry Townships. The commission is run by a 9 member board of directors who represent the various municipalities served by the organization.
“The website has been under development for many months and our special appreciation is extended to Hung Nguyen and Triple Strength for their dedicated and creative efforts on our behalf,” added King. She noted that advertising space is available on the site for reasonable monthly fees.
